Cova Hotel

Amazing staff! We stayed here for 3 nights and we were so impressed with everything. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was included and definitely better than any other free breakfast I have had at a hotel. The complimentary shuttle was amazing! Always on time and saved us a ton of money! Super convenient. A lot of people seem to be hesistant because of the neighborhood but we had no issues! The shuttle made it so we hardly ever had to walk beyond the courtyard and to even get on the elevator you have to swipe your key. I was very impressed with the safety measures taken to help guests feel safe and clean. Overall, I was very impressed and I will without a doubt stay here next time I am in the area. Loved it!

Breakfast included with quite a few options, they also had free wine at the rooftop bar between 5 and 7 which was a really nice touch. The staff were really helpful and able to give us excellent suggestions on activities. The only negative was the area, completely surrounded by homeless people and it didn’t feel like a safe environment at all when leaving the hotel.

I had a fantastic time here. The room was clean, comfortable, and trendy. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to answer any questions and address any issues. Breakfast was delicious and gave me something to look forward to in the morning. The hotel is located in a central area, surrounded by trendy shops and delicious restaurants. I always felt safe and whenever I walked through the hotel doors, I always felt welcome. Will definitely come back.

I stayed here at the Cova hotel for 5 nights and it was an awesome stay in every possible way. The check in process was top rate and the suite was large (KingBed) and the view was spectacular. Enough to sleep with the windows open to take in the view. There was ample space for 2 sitting chairs to take in the view. The lounge at the top floor was exquisite and we enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting. I would go back again and again to this hotel. Located near city hall with many museums and shopping centers within close vicinity and easy walking distances. Many beautiful bright areas to sit and look. Continental breakfast buffet near the lobby where you are greeted by beautifully ornate astonishing displays right before you are checked in with the super polite staff. Plenty of pillows, blankets, and any amenities you could think of are in arms reach or a call away. I asked for a wine opener and cotton swabs and they were brought to me with a smile on the staffs face. Overall a great experience. My girlfriend and I will definitely book again!

Very modern but also has a historic feeling to the environment of the hotel. Rooms are up to date and clean. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Rooftop bar has a great view and free wine everyday certain hours. Free breakfast as well on the rooftop until 10am. I gave it 4 stars simply because the area is not the greatest. Highly recommended to take a taxi or ride share instead of walking. Granted that's not the hotels fault for the bad area but they don't have any sort of barricade or security to prevent anyone from coming in. Highly recommended regardless of area.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast and a ride to union Square or fisherman's wharf were really good. Just a shame about the area at night as the hotel is located next to 2 homeless shelters there was a lot of homeless people about. They will not bother you but it does make you feel a little uneasy at points. This doesn't bring down how good the hotel was hence 5 stars

Just had a great 4 night stay at this hotel. Perfect location to do all the touristy sightseeing stuff...and the shuttle bus the hotel provides is a perfect bonus...Yes there are homeless and beggers sleeping on some of the streets nearby (you get them in every city around the world, including my own back in the UK) but they never bothered me or my family members once so don't be put off by other reviews. The hotel staff were always pleasant and polite... especially the lovely breakfast staff...and Will up on the roof top bar was an encyclopedia of knowledge about where to go and what to do in SF city. We had a great stay with them.

Great stay! Late check in and there's a reason that particular front desk woman works the swing shift...no personality. But otherwise, the rooms were clean, the complimentary breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for the event we attended (10min walk to Civic Auditorium). The area (tenderloin) was rather sketchy at times...lots and lots of homeless people. That's why I didn't give this a 5 star. But otherwise I'd definitely come back!
